Starring the local talent Maria Logtheti, Myrto Petrochilou and Athenian actor Giorgos Papageorgiou, as well as the unforgettable Poppy and Georgos Koroneos, the film juxtaposes the protagonists' love of the island with the temptation of migration.

Back in 1996 I put on a photographic exhibition at the Bondi Pavillion in Sydney called "A Village on Kythera". This exhibition catalogue documents in photographs each person living in the central Kytherian village of Mitata between about 1984 and 1996, with orginal stories in English, Greek and German. 

This limited edition (1000 copies) exhibition catalogue was sold at the event and I thought it had sold out until I found a box of the last 25 of them recently. So this really is the last chance to get one.
